Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Presales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Sales team, specifically focusing on Google Maps and Google Cloud prospects. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Maps and Google Cloud services, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of solutions
Responsibilities:
Pre Sales Support:
Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions using Google Maps and Google Cloud services.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and develop proof of concepts (POCs) for prospective clients.
Assist in crafting proposals and responding to RFPs with detailed technical information and implementation strategies.
Post Sales Support:
Lead the technical implementation of Google Maps and Google Cloud services for clients, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for clients post-implementation.
Work closely with the cross functional team to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
Technical Expertise:
Stay updated with the latest developments in Google Maps and Google Cloud technologies and integrate new features and services into client solutions.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Google Maps and Google Cloud, providing guidance and best practices to internal teams and clients.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Infrastructure, Data, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of solutions with client needs and company goals.
Mentor junior team members and assist in training initiatives related to Google Maps and Google Cloud services.
Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales or Post-Sales engineering role, preferably within the cloud computing or location-based services industry.
Hands-on experience with Google Maps services and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.
Proven track record of successfully implementing Google Maps and/or Google Cloud services in a client-facing role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Google Maps APIs, location based services, and integration into web and mobile applications.
Expertise in Google Cloud services, including but not limited to Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
Familiarity with cloud architecture best practices and security principles.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing client challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Relevant certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, are highly desirable.
