PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group's newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch's Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Overview
To ensure mass-production capability for final test on System-IC handler System
To ensure performance of Handler including Processes and contacting to achieve KPI - Targets
To implement and release new products, technologies and processes on handler systems according to lead plant specification
To improve continuously process and performance of System-IC handler systems
To ensure Uptime/To reduce Unplanned downtime of System-IC hander system
To reduce budget for maintenance and spare parts for System-IC handler system
What you'll do
Overall interface and responsible for all System-IC Handler incl. contacting unit system topics
Responsible for Release/ Transfer of new products, technologies, processes and machines incl. leading setup, fine tuning, sustaining and maintenance.
Responsible for assuring readiness of the machine according to specifications and definition of maintenance and calibration plan. Also, secondary responsible to carry out the maintenance and calibration.
Lead System-IC handler incl. Contacting unit related trouble shooting, analysis and documentation of downtime root-cause (incl. localization of failures on measurement boards, PCBs and equipment repair).
Instruction of Operators (as per Work Instruction) and service team (for corrective and preventive maintenance) in alignment with production management.
Autonomous adaption and extension of circuit diagrams according to engineering specification and alignment of all changes with lead plant
First Contact person for equipment suppliers and engineering as equipment owner for all issues incl. appointments, technical discussions and questions, delivery dates.
Responsible for improvement activities: Venture into new technologies to develop measures to improve production KPIs, like CT/ Output, Yield/OEE, Budget/Cost, reduce failures (MTBF, MTTR, down times) and improve quality.
Responsible for System-IC handler system related documents: Work instructions, trouble-shooting guides, release and maintenance guideline, process FMEA, control plan, etc.
10 . Cooperation in the simultaneous engineering teams, project teams, 8D team (also lead teams), participation in audits and hold lots dispose
Define the spare parts and ensure their availability
Think out of the box to develop new data analysis and artificial intelligence solution for improvements.
Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed in this role
Minimum 5 to 10 years working experience semiconductor device handling; Repair of contacting units with pogo-pin
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical
Good communication skills & communicate well with all levels within the company
Able to perform economic analysis
