The customer, established 15 years ago, specializes in developing and commercializing integrated civil engineering and infrastructure project solutions. Since 1999, they have secured over 150 projects in Indonesia and Malaysia. They excel in sewerage network and pipe laying works, sewerage treatment plants, bridge and road construction, and more, using techniques like the Open Trench and Trenchless Methods.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing materials, equipment, and services essential for construction projects. You'll ensure that all procurement activities align with the project requirements, budget constraints, and timelines. You will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement operations, contributing to the successful execution of the projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cost-efficient procurement strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to meet quality, pricing, and delivery standards.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Source and procure materials and services for projects, including sewerage networks and road construction.
• Manage procurement costs and optimize value while ensuring timely project delivery.
• Ensure quality and safety standards for all procured materials.
• Oversee inventory to prevent delays and reduce excess costs.
• Evaluate supplier performance for consistent quality and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet procurement needs.
• Keep accurate procurement records and generate management reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• First-hand experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials and equipment for infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in procurement software.
• Understanding of industry regulations and compliance.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.

The budget for this position is around 15.000.000 - 18.000.000 nett/month
