About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong focus on B2C to join our dynamic team. As a Product Owner you will be working with the Product & Design, B2C team and play a crucial role to make Igloo become the future of insurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering work with the commercial, insurance, marketing and business teams in your local market to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and use this knowledge to write user stories. You will create user flow diagrams to support the different stakeholders in understanding the user journey
- Product management assist with developing and maintaining the product backlog as well as participating in agile practices. Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure that the product is developed to Igloo's high quality standards
- Product research interview customers to gather customer insights and pain points. You will also analyze market trends and competition to assist with defining the product strategy
- Post Launch tracking continuously monitors the success of features that have launched and provides feedback to the wider product team
- Operations train the wider team on new product features to ensure successful adoption
- Metrics tracking Continuously evaluate and optimize the product based on quantitative and qualitative feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferably from a tech-focused product company
- Prior experience, preferably with proven B2C domain; product experience in platforms/app would be advantageous
- Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start ups
- Critical thinking skills and growth mindset
- A self-starter with hands-on experience and who can execute in a fast-paced environment
