About the Role
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Product Packaging Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating innovative packaging solutions that are both functional and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D rendering and printing, material specification, and consumer-oriented packaging design.
Job Responsibilities
- Create supporting assets for branding (KV & POSM).
- Develop & create detailed & realistic 3D models of packaging concepts, including primary packaging and outer cartons.
- Develop innovative packaging designs that align with brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Research and recommend suitable primary and master box packaging materials to ensure durability and protection.
- Evaluate material properties for product compatibility, sustainability, cost, and production efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous testing of packaging materials and designs to ensure product protection during storage, transport, and handling.
- Implement quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise with packaging.
- Ensure all packaging meets regulatory requirements and safety standards for the market.
- Analyze consumer preferences and trends to design user-friendly and appealing packaging.
- Design packaging solutions that meet functional requirements, such as using pump dispensers, caps, or innovative closures, based on product usage.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product packaging design, ideally with experience in consumer goods or retail packaging.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Blender, KeyShot).
- Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
- Familiarity with packaging regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to understand and anticipate consumer packaging preferences and trends.
