You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Domestic relocation is available for this position.
What You Will Do
- This position requires managing the People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) for the value streams.
- Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.
- Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met, and system resources are used effectively.
- Monitoring overall operations performance and implementing production safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms.
- Ensures the compliance of all regulatory guidelines and forges a safe and sound manufacturing environment.
What Skills You Have
- Manufacturing Operations: Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
- Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
- Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
- Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
- Production Scheduling and Control: Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.
- Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
What Will Set You Apart
- Educational Background : A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience : At least 7 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within shop or operations manufacturing industries, or a similar, relevant position.
- Language Proficiency : Good proficiency in English is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Physical Requirements (With Or Without Reasonable Accommodation)
- This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
