What You Will Do:
Plan, organize, and supervise the daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.
Manage production schedules, workforce, and resources to meet customer demands and production targets.
Monitor production processes, including sewing, cutting, and finishing, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Resolve any technical issues that arise during the production process, ensuring minimal disruption.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process optimization.
Train and mentor the production team on Lean methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Utilize tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping to improve production workflows.
Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and enforce quality control procedures.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team performance.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads, to ensure budget adherence.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient resource utilization.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, defects, and downtime.
Prepare regular reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
What You Will Need:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in garment production management.
Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including sewing, pattern making, and fabric selection.
Proficiency in Lean Management principles, with a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement methods.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in production management software and tools.
