• Tasks & responsibilities

Assist in planning and organizing cutting programmes base on production schedules.

• Monitor production processes and adjust cutting programmes as needed to meet deadlines. Ensure the efficient and timely production of goods.

Supervise and provide guidance to operators, ensuring their continuous improvement.

• Machine troubleshooting.

Set up new machine, techniques, programmes for any new models and assist on all the preparation accordingly.

• Ensure that production meets the required quality standards.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

• Address and resolve any production quality issues.

Manage production output and coordinate transfer to the next station.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure timely supply of materials.

Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and machinery.

• Identify areas for improvement in the cutting process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Arrange any urgent cutting schedules for intercompany operations.

• Undertake any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by Department Head.

• Qualifications & experience

At least 2 years of related working experience in the manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel industry.

• Specializing in manufacturing or production operations or equivalent.

Able to support overtime when required.
