Project Management Instructor (Part-time)

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures on project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and the project life cycle.

Guide students in project management techniques, including planning, scheduling, and estimation.

Mentor students in risk, stakeholder, and resource management.

Create fair grading criteria and provide constructive feedback.

Facilitate practical exercises like project charters, WBS, and risk management.

Help students build a project management portfolio showcasing key skills.

Lead discussions on leadership, problem-solving, and quality management.

Offer real-world mentorship for practical application of project management.

Engage students to ensure skill development for industry needs.

Commit to students long-term success.

Job Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience in project management, preferably as a Project Manager handling diverse and complex projects.

Strong expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), with proven experience in managing the full project life cycle, from initiation to closure.

Practical experience with project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and resource management, with a focus on best practices.

Proficient in using project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Gantt Chart software, etc.) to plan, execute, and monitor projects.

Experience in teaching or mentoring project management concepts with a focus on practical application and industry standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Ability to mentor students in developing professional portfolios, focusing on comprehensive project documentation, risk analysis, and stakeholder management.

PMP Certification is preferred and will provide a significant advantage.

Commitment to delivering high-quality, hands-on learning experiences.

Willingness to commit as a part-time instructor at Phincon Academy.
