Job description :
- Evaluate and establish a public relations strategy and plan.
- Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management.
- Edit and update public relations placement materials for clients.
- Engage with the marketing department to ensure that PR campaigns align with strategic goals, growth plans, and new business opportunities.
- Leverage existing media relationshipsacross broadcast, traditional, and online platformsto secure prominent placements.
- Pitch new ideas, amplify brand content on social media, and stay up to date with trends and opportunities.
- Organize PR events (e.g., open days, press conferences) and serve as the company's spokesperson.
- Track media coverage, follow industry trends, and conduct daily monitoring for clients, including issue-specific monitoring.
- Manage PR issues and develop strategies for damage containment in crisis situations, effectively addressing PR challenges for client
- Oversee campaign management and client collaboration to ensure smooth execution and alignment with goals.
- Collect data and generate regular reports informed by detailed performance analysis and generate insights to improve future PR strategies.
Required skills and Qualications :
- Experience in public relations within a company or organization
- Exceptional planning, writing, and editing skills
- Strong ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
- Proven track record of building relationships with media contacts and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and act independently
- Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred skills and qualications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in public relations, marketing, or advertising
- Established relationships with media organizations and journalists
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience at a Public Relations agency or related company
- Experience in crisis communication and issue management is a plus
- Excellent relationship with media company (both traditional, digital, and homeless media channels)
