Job purpose
As the QA/E Engineer, you will lead the design, setup, and maintenance of testing processes throughout the software development lifecycle in igloo. Your role involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and troubleshooting problems, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
With a strong focus on technical skills, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail, validate functionality, enhance user experience, and drive a testing strategy that ensures reliable, user-focused, and high-performing products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assures correctness and completeness of quality management documents
- Monitors implementation of QA processes and plans (Inspection Test Plans and Quality Control Plans)
- Conducts periodic team meetings to ensure alignment with QA process and address issues with QA tools
- Gathers comments and feedbacks to optimize systems and processes
- Reviews documentation and resolves identified issues
- Maintains automated testing procedures
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and product owner to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met
Requirements/Qualifications
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
- Certification in standard quality management system is a plus
- Experience with Test Management Tools such as: Test Rail, Jira, and Confluence is a plus
- Experience in automated testing is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving skills
- Innovative and detail-oriented
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
