As a Key Account Manager (KAM) for Regional Group Strategic Key Accounts, your role is crucial in maintaining and growing relationships with our key brands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management
Build and Maintain Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within your strategic accounts.
Regular Communication: Conduct regular meetings, calls, and visits to stay connected with your key accounts. Ensure that communication is consistent and valuable.
2. Account Planning and Strategy
Develop Account Plans: Create detailed account plans that outline goals, strategies, and action steps for each key account.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that the strategies and initiatives you implement are in line with the overall business strategy of your organization and the specific needs of the key accounts.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth
Identify Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts. This could include upselling, cross-selling, or identifying new projects.
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for your key accounts. Track and report on sales performance regularly.
4. Customer Satisfaction and Retention
Monitor Customer Satisfaction: Regularly gather feedback from key accounts to understand their satisfaction levels and areas for improvement.
Resolve Issues: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise promptly and effectively. Work with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met.
5. Collaboration and Coordination
Cross-Functional Teams: Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to key accounts.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and support for key account initiatives.
6. Market and Competitive Analysis
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and competitive activities.
Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to help your key accounts stay ahead of the competition.
7. Reporting and Analysis
Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for your key accounts, such as sales, customer satisfaction, and retention rates.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and to continuously improve your account management strategies.
