Job Scope
As the Regional Service Line Manager (Studies and Optimisation), you will focus on expanding market share in established areas and uncovering new opportunities, you lead efforts to drive substantial revenue growth and enhance our product offerings. Utilizing your expertise in Optimizationspanning Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Flotation, Comminution, and Process Engineeringyou lead a team of regional specialists to improve plant efficiency, availability, and recoveries through proactive audits of customer sites, processes, and equipment.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of regional specialists, guiding them through optimization projects encompassing all aspects of flotation, comminution, and overall plant processes.
- Conduct proactive audits of customer sites, processes, and equipment to identify optimization and performance enhancement opportunities.
- Help customers enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and maximize throughput.
- Play an active role in business development (BDM), forging strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring our solutions are closely aligned with customer needs and market trends.
- Drive initiatives that cover key process areas such as flotation and comminution, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of metallurgy to deliver sustainable results.
- Collaborate with process engineering and technical teams to develop tailored optimization strategies, deliver impactful solutions, and provide strategic guidance on complex projects.
What You Bring
- Experience in mineral processing, metallurgy, or a related technical field, with a focus on flotation, comminution, and process optimization.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams of technical specialists, ideally within the mining, minerals, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in business development (BDM), with a track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities and growing market share.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in mineral processing techniques, particularly in flotation and comminution.
- Expertise in process engineering, with a focus on optimization of plant systems and operations.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software tools for process simulation and data analysis
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
