Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Research and Development (R&D) Executive to join our team in the Food & Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development of new products, optimizing existing offerings, and staying ahead of industry trends. This role requires frequent travel between various outlets to conduct research, gather insights, and oversee the implementation of new initiatives.
Lead the development of new food and beverage products from concept to launch, including formulation, testing, and refinement.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with market needs, regulatory standards, and company objectives.
Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to validate product concepts and improvements.
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze data and insights to guide product innovation and make strategic recommendations.
Travel frequently to various company outlets to monitor product performance, gather feedback, and assess the implementation of new products and processes.
- Build strong relationships with outlet staff to facilitate the smooth introduction of new products and gather valuable insights for continuous improvement.
Ensure that new and existing products meet quality standards and comply with food safety regulations.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve any product-related issues and maintain high standards.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners to support product development and troubleshoot any issues.
- Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and consumer preferences to drive innovation.
- Propose and implement creative solutions to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
- Qualifications: Education:
Bachelors degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in research and development within the food and beverage industry, with a track record of successful product launches.
- Experience with frequent travel and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Other Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Working Conditions: This position requires frequent travel to company outlets, suppliers, and industry events.

Pay: RM4,- 00 - RM4,500.00 per month
