Luxuriously appointed private villas are built into a gently terraced hillside named Bukit Permai, which means beautiful hill.

About the Job:


The Resort Assistant Manager represents Management in all aspects in particularly in the absence of General Manager or Department Heads. He/she is responsible for Handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assisting customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

At least have three years related working experience in the same position.

Has strong leadership and strong inter-personal skills.

Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.

Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guests preferences.

Strong computer skills, including a knowledge of Opera.

Minimum qualification of Diploma or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities:


By being available in the lobby area, the resort assistant manager is available to handle guest requirements and answer calls requesting his assistance.

Coordinates matters in relation to the emergency plans and takes immediate action.

Able to check guest in and out via OPERA system in an efficient manner, using guest name whenever possible.

Ensure guest experiences (GE) are properly followed up, liase with other departments if necessary and update the GE database upon completion.

Able to assist other departments during crunch situations.

Supervises the staff of the entire hotel during the overnight shift. Works closely with the staff from all departments to ensure that standards are being met.

Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests.
