Summary
Revenue analysts maximize profits by analyzing revenue data, tracking expenses, and developing business strategies. Revenue analysts work independently but also collaborate with department heads and executives to devise business strategies.
Revenue Analyst Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist in the management of rooms inventory
Manage extranets such as Hyatt, SiteMinder, OTAs, TravelClick and others
Create Revenue Reports: daily, weekly, monthly and on demand
Create Forecasts showing projected revenue for 3 to 6 months
Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to department
Analyze Data to find trends and patterns and determine where new strategies. Datas to be On the books, Competitions (in and outside of Bali), pick up pace and patterns, market trends.
Collaborate with department to plan strategies and brainstorm ideas to maximize revenue and deliver a better customer experience
Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks
Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools
Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems
Closely monitor OTA: rates disparity, content, pictures.
Create rates into Hyatt systems and make sure of the synchronization with Opera, Reserve and others
Qualifications
1 - 2 years related experience
Experience with Hyatt preferred but not required
Microsoft Office expertise, especially in Excel
Excellent communicator speaks and writes clearly and to the point
Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail
Strong intellectual curiosity and affinity for numbers
Able to work in an environment with a dynamic pace (comparable to city hotel)
