We are seeking a certified and experienced Risk Management Officer to lead our risk management efforts, ensuring the companys assets, reputation, and financial stability are well-protected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies and procedures to mitigate potential threats.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits, analyzing risk data to identify trends and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with departments such as finance, legal, operations, and compliance to integrate risk management into business processes.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, regularly reviewing and updating risk profiles.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors, outlining risk exposures and management strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on risk awareness and management practices.
- Lead risk mitigation projects and track their progress.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, emerging risks, and best practices in risk management.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in risk management are required, such as:
- Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
- Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA)
- Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM)
- Chartered Risk Analyst (CRA)
- MR1/MR2
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in risk management, preferably within the finance or corporate sectors.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
- Familiarity with risk management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate risk management concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
