Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Robotics Engineer at Oneberry - Automating Physical Security in Batam. The Robotics Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as analytical research, product development, testing, and R&D projects to enhance security and surveillance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: designing and developing mechanical and electronic systems for various robot configurations, including 2WD, 4WD skid-steering, and car-like robots.
• Integration: Interface sensors and actuators on the robot using Arduino or other modules.
• ROS Development: Create and maintain ROS packages for motor drivers, sensors, and actuators, utilizing ROS1 Navigation Stack for autonomous operation (differential 2D/4WD, Ackermann steering).
• Custom Parts: Use 3D printing technology to create custom parts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in creating and implementing robotics solutions.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical design for robotics.
• 3D Design Skills (Preferred): Experience with 3D design and modeling is a plus.
• Programming Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with C++, Python, Java, or desktop application development is a plus.
• Proficiency in ROS1 Navigation Stack and robot autonomy development.
• Experience with Arduino and interfacing modules.
• Familiarity with 3D printing and custom part fabrication.
