Job Description Summary:
The S/4 HANA Finance and Accounting Process Lead is a critical role in the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA for end-to-end finance and accounting processes, ensuring a seamless integration with existing business processes and other applications, while also considering statutory consolidation requirements to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting. The Process Lead will be responsible for end-to-end process design, documentation, and solution blueprinting, with a strong focus on clean core adoption, minimizing customizations, and ensuring smooth data transfer to the consolidation system.
Job Description:
- Process Design and Documentation:
- Collaborate with business process SMEs and owners to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and design optimized finance and accounting processes within the S/4HANA framework.
- Document end-to-end processes, including manual activities, integration points with other processes, and control points.
- Ensure alignment of documented processes with SAP best practices and industry standards.
- Solution Blueprinting:
- Work closely with the S/4HANA functional team and other application teams to define the technical solution blueprint for finance and accounting processes.
- Drive the adoption of clean core S/4HANA functionalities and prioritize requirements to minimize customizations.
- Utilize SAP BTP or other side-by-side solutions for customizations when necessary, ensuring a well-integrated and maintainable solution.
- Co-sign off on the solution blueprint, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with business process SMEs and owners to obtain sign-off on process designs and solution blueprints.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and understanding among all stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.
- Testing and Training:
- Perform functional acceptance testing of finance and accounting processes in S/4HANA prior to user acceptance testing.
- Develop comprehensive training materials for key users, covering both S/4HANA functionalities and associated business processes.
- Conduct training sessions for key users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system and processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or related areas is highly desirable.
- Have 10 -15 years experience, 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting processes, with at least 2 years of experience in SAP implementation projects.
- Proven track record of leading process design and implementation initiatives.
- Experience in a consulting role is a plus.
- Deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices in the Indonesian context, including statutory consolidation requirements.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Management Accounting (CO), and their relevance to statutory consolidation.
- Comprehensive understanding of core finance structures in SAP (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Company Code, Business Area, Profit Center, Cost Center) and their role in management and statutory reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and a good familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to identify and shape the correct processes and data in S/4HANA to ensure smooth and accurate data transfer to the consolidation system.
- Experience in integrating SAP Finance with other modules like Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Project System (PS), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology or other project implementation methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
