Job Descriptions
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Sales teams operations and strategies. By researching market trends and conducting competitor analysis, you will develop and implement sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement hotel sales action plans/budgets/targets which will result in AG achieving budgeted occupancy and revenue targets
- Identify new revenue opportunities for the group and hotel strategies to maximize revenue
- Manage the client database on behalf of the hotel and ensure it is regularly updated and information is recorded accurately
- Establish and grow the MICE market and identify new potential markets
- Develop tactical promotions to improve occupancy during low periods
- Review the sales expenses for the team and ensure this is in line with budget
- Manage all tradeshows and sales blitz on behalf of the company and coordinate the management of each event
- Ensure all sales reports are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner
- Coach and nurture members of the sale steam ensuring they are always performing to their optimum level
- Provide counselling and coaching when required and ensure development plans and KPIs are established for the team
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management.
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience
- 6+ years of experience in sales
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
