Sales Engineer - chemical (Serpong)

Responsibilities

• Handle import purchase orders from tire factory customers in Indonesia to makers from China.
• Provide solutions in case of import delays.
• Conduct research on company competitors.
• Monitor shipments/delivery with documentation.
• Assist in investigating price tenders every quarter.
• Develop usage and increase market share.
• Provide solutions if there are problems with customers.
• Prepare quarterly reports.
• Foster good relationships between customers and suppliers.
• Follow up on payments from each customer.
• Stay updated on market developments and conditions.

Requirements

• Understand the needs of each customer.
• Know competitor volume and pricing for each customer.
• Keep up with current conditions.
• Have good relationships with all tire factories in Indonesia (purchase, PPIC, QA, Warehouse, R&D).
• The items to be handled initially: Fabrics cords/chafer/aramid/yarn, bead wire, steel cords.
