The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
- Developing and managing a portfolio of Key Accounts.
- Achieving monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as upsell and cross sell potential within existing customers to maximise share of wallet.
- Coordinating pre-sales and post-sales follow up.
- Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 2 years experience within a Sales / Account Executive, Sales Engineer or Business Development Manager role, ideally within the Agribusiness / Agritech, Marine & Offshore, Chemicals and Oil & Gas industry.
- Alternatively, at least 2 years of sales experience specializing in any of the following products:
- a) Blast and Explosion Protection
- b) Solutions For Tank Protection
- c) Dust Explosion Protection
- d) Ventilation Blast Protection & Air Filtration Solution
- e) Blast Resistant Module (BRM) / Blast Shelter / Special Container / E/C-house
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You have a strong experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships.
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
- Communicating in English, Chinese and other SEA languages would be advantageous in working with local associates, clients, agents, and partners in local languages.
