Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Sales Executive specializing in Freight Forwarding, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain industry. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling freight forwarding services to potential clients. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, build strong customer relationships, and work towards achieving sales targets. This role demands a deep understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and logistics operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, and industry events.
Initiate contact with decision-makers within target companies to understand their logistics needs.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the proposed solutions align with the client's needs and expectations.
Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations based on the clients cargo specifications and shipping requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals outlining the scope of services, cost breakdowns, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable contracts.
  • Close deals and ensure smooth handover of new accounts to the operations team.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma and Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in Sales or Marketing in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Shipping Lines.
Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Fluent in English.
  • Fast learner and have passion for sales.
