JOB SUMMARY
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue and enhance the club's brand visibility. This role involves managing all sales activities, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. The Sales and Marketing Manager will also oversee marketing efforts, including advertising, promotions, and social media campaigns, to attract guests and maximize occupancy rates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the revenue goals, targeting key market segments such as corporate, group, leisure, and international travelers.
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales team, setting clear performance objectives, providing ongoing coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event contracts, to increase the hotels client base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the hotel while meeting client needs.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and online advertising, ensuring the hotels online presence is optimized and engaging.
- Supervise the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, websites, social media content, and promotional videos, ensuring consistency with the hotels brand image and messaging.
- Design and implement promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and packages to boost bookings during low periods and maximize revenue during peak seasons.
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities, using insights to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics, such as occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), and campaign ROI, to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with other divisions, including Front Office, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, and Operations, to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies with overall hotel objectives and seamless execution of events and guest services.
- Oversee the promotion and sales of event spaces, working with the Events team to ensure successful planning and execution of conferences, weddings, and other events.
- Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Monitor expenses related to sales and marketing activities, implementing cost-saving measures where possible without compromising quality or effectiveness.
- Provide regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), budget variances, and action plans for continuous improvement.
- Manage the clubs public relations efforts, including press releases, media relations, and community engagement, to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
- 3 years of working experiences in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry
- Great comprehension of English, proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and the use of CRM and sales management software.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS, CRM) and revenue management practices is highly desirable.
