Job Description: As a Senior Application Engineer at Diversey, you will play a pivotal role in the development, testing, and implementation of our solutions within the food and beverage sector. You will work closely with our customers and internal teams to understand their specific needs and challenges, providing tailored technical support and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to assess their unique requirements, understand their production processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Solution Development: Design and customize applications and technologies to address customer needs, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulations.
Product Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and performance criteria.
Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to customers during the implementation of our solutions, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications, to assist customers in using and maintaining our applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the market.
Training: Train customers and internal teams on the use and maintenance of our applications, promoting efficient and effective utilization.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and incorporate this knowledge into the development process.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience with at least 5 years in the food and beverage industry, with a strong understanding of production processes. Strong background in processed food industry is a big plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with customers and internal teams.
