Understand and establish category requirements, development of sourcing strategy that meet the needs of the organization, while providing synergy in process and savings.
Analyze key metrics and identify assortment gaps to derive strategies on how to improve supplier and category performance.
Sourcing and pitching new suppliers, while managing & existing suppliers.
Monitor and optimize category traffic efficiency in all internal and external traffic channels and created traffic allocation strategy for the focus supply
Liaise with Supply Chain and Planning departments to maximize revenue and financial targets within the respective product category.
Utilize both internal and external data effectively to make smart and educated decisions to drive incremental sales.
Act as the main point of contact for supplier partners and new partnership prospects.
Most importantly, establish an overall product portfolio that goes beyond meeting customer expectations, resulting in uncalculated customer delight.
Execute supplier relationship management activities, including issues management., supplier performance management business review preparation and actions
Responsible for overall team management, including hiring, goal setting and delegation of work, training and development, coaching/mentoring, and completing performance evaluations that are supported by collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Management, Sales, Communication or relevant fields.
Minimum 3 years of working experience as Senior Category Manager in Fresh & Frozen categories
Proficiency in Ms. Office preferably Ms. Excel & Powerpoint.
