As a Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for:
Project Budgeting
- Assign costs to each task or work package based on resource requirements;
- Assign direct and indirect cost of the project;
- Distribute the budget across the project timeline, creating a time-phased budge.
Project Cash Flow Management
- Manage the invoicing process to ensure timely billing and collection of payments from clients or funding sources;
- Track accounts receivable to monitor the status of outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments;
- Monitor the achievement of project milestones tied to funding releases or payments.
Financial Reporting and Management
- Prepare projects/programs financial report;
- Prepare budget realization reports for CISDI internally;
- Prepare quarterly reports for external donors;
- Compile final project reports in accordance with donor regulations;
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of supporting documents.
Compliance
- Ensure financial processes and fund disbursements align with activity funding allocations, budget, and donor regulations;
- Ensure consistent application of regulations (SOP, financial principles, etc.);
- Explain and socialize SOPs and financial regulations to relevant parties.
Communication & Coordination
- Ensure that relevant information received by stakeholders involved in the project;
- Attend both routine and ad-hoc project and management meetings;
- Coordinate and communicate with the program team regarding activities funded by the program.
Program's Documentation and Administration
- Complete and archive all documentation related to program expenditures;
- Ensure documents are accessible for reporting and audit purposes;
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, information, and documents;
- Oversee all finance administration, relate to program/project.
Requirement:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management with over 3 years of experience
