About The Role
As a Senior Legal Officer in the Holding Company, you'll need to be able to provide legal analysis and advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents as well as understand the products, and negotiate with counterparts. You will work with many stakeholders and other legal team members from different Operating Companies and different product teams.
Senior Legal Officer will handle mostly the contract preparation, drafting and negotiation for the company's sourcing activities and processes, including procurement, purchasing agreements, commercial and technology commodity (SaaS, Cloud and etc). Other tasks beyond sourcing/procurement matters might also be assigned to support the business operation of the company.
What You Will Do
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including agreements, amendments, and addendums
- Support procurement team in all legal and contract matters, including assisting with vendor contract negotiations, especially with technology companies
- Oversee daily legal operations, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards compliance
- Analyze and address complex legal issues, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking in legal advisories
- Effectively manage the procurement and contract management process
- Staying informed on current and emerging policies, practices, trends, and relevant information affecting the technology industry
- Provide legal advice and assessments on various legal and procurement matters
- Coordinate and communicate with external counsel when necessary
What You Will Need
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in law from a reputable University
- 4-5 or more years of legal experience in a corporate setting combined with law firm experience, (having a background from a technology company would be an advantage)
- Excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral) and analytical skills
- Experience in advising non-legal persons on legal risks in specific sourcing/procurement activities would be an advantage
- Fluency in business-level English both written and spoken
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative with a positive can-do attitude
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadline
- Having a good personality, effective problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
