A world-leading Chinese enterprise has invested in Indonesia specializing in the production of electricity meters and water meters.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing suppliers: Using market data to evaluate suppliers based on quality and cost ;
- Negotiating contracts: Working with suppliers to get the best terms for the company
- Managing suppliers: Selecting and managing suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives ;
- Ensuring compliance: Making sure all procurement transactions comply with company policies and laws ;
- Collaborating with project managers: Understanding material requirements and working with project managers to ensure timely delivery ;
- Evaluating supplier performance: Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance and addressing issues as needed ;
- Coordinating with vendors: Working with vendors to improve quality and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field ;
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement of electronics parts and components or a related field ;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail ;
- Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software ;
- Familiarity with manufacturing materials and components, and knowledge of industry regulations ;
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment ;
- Problem-solving abilities to solve complex issues with clear prioritization;
- Proven experience in leadership and project management ;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Mandarin is a plus;
- Willing to work in Cikarang.
