Senior Procurement Engineer

A world-leading Chinese enterprise has invested in Indonesia specializing in the production of electricity meters and water meters.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing suppliers: Using market data to evaluate suppliers based on quality and cost ;
2. Negotiating contracts: Working with suppliers to get the best terms for the company
3. Managing suppliers: Selecting and managing suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives ;
4. Ensuring compliance: Making sure all procurement transactions comply with company policies and laws ;
5. Collaborating with project managers: Understanding material requirements and working with project managers to ensure timely delivery ;
6. Evaluating supplier performance: Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance and addressing issues as needed ;
7. Coordinating with vendors: Working with vendors to improve quality and ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field ;
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement of electronics parts and components or a related field ;
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail ;
4. Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software ;
5. Familiarity with manufacturing materials and components, and knowledge of industry regulations ;
6. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment ;
7. Problem-solving abilities to solve complex issues with clear prioritization;
8. Proven experience in leadership and project management ;
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Mandarin is a plus;
10. Willing to work in Cikarang.
