Senior Resource Development Engineer

2024, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Subang, Jawa Barat, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the supplier development of productive materials or non-productive materials of the department, to ensure that the supplier development can meet the needs of R & D, production, quality and other departments, and to ensure that the supplier qualification can meet the requirements of the company and the business department within the contract period;

2. Responsible for negotiating and signing relevant procurement agreements with suppliers on behalf of the business department to ensure the legal validity of the cooperation between the two parties;

3. Responsible for organizing relevant departments to investigate and evaluate potential suppliers, integrating inferior suppliers and developing secondary resources based on existing suppliers, and classifying resource reserves to ensure the adequacy of supplier resources and reliability of supply channels;

4. Responsible for procurement cost control, combined with market conditions, leading business negotiations and periodic price reduction negotiations to ensure the rationalization of procurement costs and procurement conditions;

5. Maintain/update supplier information, business terms information and price information to ensure the integrity, real-time, effectiveness and accuracy of all information;

6. According to the changes in the procurement manual, make corresponding adjustments and improve the resource development process of the business department to ensure the rationality and efficiency of the implementation;

Requirements:

Require for Chinese, English and local language can be used as working language, science and engineering background, 1-5 years supply chain industry experience, automotive industry experience is preferred.
