Amar Bank is one of the most technologically advanced digital banks in Indonesia. Our leading
digital lending product, Tunaiku has the distinction of being the first FinTech product in

How did it all start
Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the
bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank)
in

Responsibilities
Full understanding and in-depth knowledge of data sources used for underwriting (e.g. SLIK, telco, etc)
Proactively maintain open channels with above mentioned datasource providers, where if there are any questions or trend changes in the input data we have a clear role will conveying the questions/answers to the provider of the data
Monitor the trends in input data for spikes or abnormalities occurrence and find the root cause of the occurrence, working together with data science and risk to document the occurrence and possible effect or next steps to be taken
Analyze SLIK and other data provider overall market trends, going also to creditor level to monitor how competitor products are performing and update if there are any new products or changes in the main creditor's portfolios
Help to make sense and properly categorize the loan products reported in SLIK registries, put context behind the loans being reported such as what the purpose of the loan
Understand the different reporting irregularities coming from different creditors in SLIK, and set up an alerting policy if any changes in trends are detected and communicate with the data provider to find out why and what has occurred for the change to take place
Comparing and understanding where our loan product fits to the market and measuring performance compared to other creditor-similar products
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in risk analytics or similar role
Experienced in financial institution, preferably banks
Possess both Qualitative and quantitative understanding for underwriting data input and data source
Hands on experience in SLIK analysis
Proficient in Excel for data analytics (e.g. Pivot table)
Bonus Point If
Personal network with data source provider (SLIK, PEFINDO, CBI, CLIK)
Proficient in SQL
Experience in handling data related to Android phone and Telco data
We exist to cover the full area of lending to retail customers based on a portfolio approach. We are very data-driven and strategic to make decisions on Retail propositions through analyzing, interpreting, elaborating data, visualizing, and presenting results.
Its our job to underwrite, create portfolio management reports, design collection strategies to risk costs, and RWA optimization. We work closely with relevant stakeholders actively to build the network globally.
