The role
You play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of products is of the highest level. Youre not afraid to challenge the norm but are also able to take on feedback and work in collaboration with our engineering, product and operations team bringing your previous experience to the table. With your technical expertise, you build a strong test automation foundation.
Your ticket to success:
Lead the way. As a senior you play a significant role in leading QE across Frankie and work with other members of the team to get their input. You coach and mentor junior members of the team, peer reviewing their work and supporting their development by sharing your knowledge and experience.
Be proactive. You contribute to building our quality processes and tweak them over time to ensure they are relevant and best of breed. You review requirements, technical specifications, and highlight any gaps
Sleeves rolled up. You undertake test planning and execution activities across all phases of the development lifecycle. You also prepare test designs, test cases, test data and other testing assets, executing tests, logging test results and following up defects through to resolution. You also Review test documentation produced by others in the team to help ensure appropriate test coverage is achieved
Be a team player. You work alongside and communicate well with the broader organisation, especially your fellow squad (made up of engineers, delivery lead, product manager, technical BA and QA Lead). You understand how the service will be built, how best to integrate testing from the outset and help define done!
Own automation. You use your understanding of quality risk and are able to help prioritise automation efforts for the greatest return on investment. You also design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality and tell us what you need in place to be successful - tools or otherwise!
Think outside the box. You have creative thinking skills, a passion for problem solving and are able to troubleshoot bugs and perform complex system tests. Youre naturally detail oriented and have a passion for seeing things through to the end.

Coding and scripting expertise in any programming language. Good to have experience in java script but not mandatory.
Minimum 4 years of experience in building and maintaining framework for UI and API test automation ( cypress/playwright/BDD)
