Job Qualification
Education:
Minimum bachelors degree in social science, engineering, natural science, or other relevant sectors.
Working experience:
Minimum 4 (four) years full time practical workplace experience in the relevant industries/services such as in manufacturing, service industry, mining, oil and gas, forestry, and engineering.
At least 2 (two) years in a role or function relating to the implementation of management systems in the relevant industries/services such as ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001, SA 8000 or SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit) requirements, etc in relevant sectors such as in manufacturing, service industry, mining, oil and gas, forestry, and engineering.
Preferably having working experience relating to social compliance and ethical audits or any management system audits.
Technical qualification:
In-depth knowledge of national and local laws and their application to a social systems audit.
International standards including ILO conventions and clients requirements.
Familiarity with the issues facing workers in the region/country/industry.
Understanding of SMETA guidelines, best practices, and Social Audit (SA 8000) terminology, and how to apply them.
Fraud detection techniques.
A minimum of 25 days experience in conducting ethical audits.
Understanding of payroll systems.
Knowledge of Human Resources management systems.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all professional levels.
Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and under pressure.
With a keen interest in learning and exploring new knowledge and skills.
A good command of English both verbal and written including ability to write clear and concise reports in English.
Relevant computer skills.
