Responsibilities
- Sourcing Engineer: Interfaces with development and supplier engineering to provide materials and components for company product manufacturing. Communicates product specifications to suppliers and assesses supplier's ability to meet engineering and quality requirements.
- To be able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement
- Evaluates suppliers internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.
- Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Works with Engineering and management to assess business needs and contribute to the development of procurement and as per company strategies.
- To perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities focusing on packaging & labels to achieve the KPIs set by the management
- Handles requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes for the assigned commodities (packaging and label or other mechanical parts). To be able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement
- Evaluates current and potential suppliers in coordination with Supplier Quality Teams.
- Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objective.
- Drives the parts and process qualification in coordination with Supplier Quality Teams.
- Establishes and maintains rapport with all levels of supplier personnel and internal customers.
- Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies.

- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the fields of engineering, or manufacturing.
- Working experiences above 5 years in related fields.
- Good negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills are required to lean on networks to get the best price.
- Global sourcing experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions. Includes a strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and scheduling software.
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down, and across organizational lines.
