Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust and scalable core banking system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and seamless integration with other financial systems
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the core banking team
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into an effective implementation
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for core banking systems
Qualifications
- Experience working with at least one core banking system (e.g. AS400, T24, etc) and familiarity with its architecture, functionality, and limitations
- Deep expertise in the saving, loan, and deposit modules within a core banking system and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Proficiency in executing End of Day, End of Month, and End of Year processes in a core banking environment and ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a similar role or in a financial institution
- Strong familiarity in the implementation of sharia-compliant banking products
