Job Description:
The primary responsibility of a staff tax professional is to assist in the preparation, filing, and maintenance of tax-related documents and records. This role may involve working on various tax-related tasks, such as:
- Ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize the organization's tax liabilities while remaining compliant with tax laws.
- Conducting research on tax laws, regulations, rulings, and court cases to ensure that the organization is aware of any changes or updates that may affect its tax position.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all tax-related documents, including tax returns, supporting schedules, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Assisting with tax audits by gathering requested documentation, preparing responses to audit inquiries, and representing the organization during discussions with tax authorities.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders, such as finance and accounting teams, as well as external stakeholders, including tax authorities and auditors, regarding tax-related matters.
- Monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and identifying any potential risks or opportunities for the organization.
- Collaborating with other departments within the organization, such as legal and human resources, to ensure that tax implications are considered in decision-making processes.
Qualification:
- A diploma / bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation
- Certified in Brevet A B (is a plus point)
- A strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and principles is essential
- Ability to analyze financial data and tax information accurately and efficiently
- A high level of attention to detail is necessary when preparing tax documents and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software, accounting software
- Understanding of professional ethics and integrity, especially concerning handling confidential financial information and compliance matters
- Experienced at least 1 year / Fresh Graduates are welcome
