Job Description

The Store Manager drives operational excellence within multiple stores, ensuring consistent execution of strategies and optimization of the operational dimensions (planning & effective communications, business performance & analysis, inventory management, workforce management, training & development, coffee & culture).

_Key Responsibilities:_
  • Business Performance & Analysis:
Drives sales growth and profitability within the assigned area.
  • Conducts regular performance analysis to identify and address gaps for improvement.
  • Inventory Management:
Implements inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocks.
  • Monitors goods movement and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Workforce Management:
Implements effective staffing plans to meet operational needs.
  • Recruits, hires, and develops high-performing store management teams.
  • Training & Development:
Identify needs and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Ensures knowledge transfer and skill development within the area.
Ensure ongoing coaching and mentorship to foster employee growth and development in the area.
  • Customer Experience:

Drives exceptional customer experience across all outlets within the area.
  • Ensures consistent delivery of high-quality products, services, and store environments.
Implements strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy.
  • Monitors customer feedback and initiates corrective actions to address issues promptly.
  • Coffee & Culture:
Reinforces Tanamera's coffee culture, mission and core values, and brand identity.
  • Creates a positive and engaging work environment in all stores.
  • Planning & Effective Communication:
Develops and implements area-specific operational plans.
  • Communicates effectively with store managers and support teams.
Coordinates with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:_
  • Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-unit retail or restaurant management.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving sales targets.
  • Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and financial reporting.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Additional Requirements:
Passion for coffee and the Tanamera brand.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
* Willingness to travel to multiple store locations within the assigned area.
