Job Title: SIE (Supplier Industrialization Engineer PCBA).
Location: Batu Pahat and Johor Bahru.
Role: SIE (Supplier Industrialization Engineer), mid-senior level.
Factory Locations: Batu Pahat and Johor Bahru.
Location of candidates: cities closest to factories (open to Singapore).
Qualifications: expertise in PCBA manufacturing assembly process.
Responsibilities:: This position is a critical role for the customer, and the candidate must have strong technical experience and qualifications in supplier management. Strong PCBA and FPC (Flexible printer circuit)background, surface mount technology, fab process, and able to visit suppliers at least 3-4 days a week. The person will manage customer's leading supplier - with 60-70 assemblies, and be the main POC between the supplier and customer.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing with a significant portion focused on EMS industry.
- Experience in the manufacturing of Printed Circuit Boards & Flexible Circuit Boards - Working knowledge of IPC 600, IPC 600.
- Experience in manufacturing of PCBAs & FPCAs( SMT, AOI, Xray, Reflow soldering, Wave Soldering, Selective Soldering, ICT/ Flying Probe, etc.).
- Experience in manufacturing of cables, harnessing focused on IPC-620.
- Experience or working knowledge of the coating processes and potting processes.
- Experience and working knowledge of subassembly and top level assembly processes.
- Experience in performing Supplier Assessments focused on electronic manufacturing and Review of QMS focused on certifying bodies such as ISO 9000, TL9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949( These standards are just for reference and not a requirement).
