Job Summary:
The role will focus on optimizing supply chain processes to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products to various distribution channels, maintaining high standards of service while minimizing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a flexible supply chain strategy, forecasting demand and adapting to market fluctuations
- Procurement & Supplier Management: Oversee sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, replenishment, and warehousing, optimizing inventory turnover to minimize excess stock and stockouts
- Logistics & Distribution: Ensure cost-effective and timely product distribution, managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PLs) and monitoring transportation efficiency
- Order Fulfillment & Customer Service: Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery, collaborating with sales and customer service to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Process Improvement & Cost Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to reduce lead times, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and manage supply chain risks, including disruptions and safety compliance
- Reporting & Analytics: Analyze supply chain data, generate performance reports, and collaborate with finance to manage budgets and cost-saving initiatives
Job requirements
- 5-7 years in supply chain management, logistics, or distribution, with focus on general trade or consumer goods
- Being Certified in CSCP, Six Sigma, APICS is a plus
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, logistics, order fulfillment)
- Expertise in supply chain operations and software (ERP, WMS, TMS), with proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills
