A Sustainability Engineer is dedicated to designing and implementing sustainable practices and solutions to minimize environmental impact, promote resource efficiency, and enhance the sustainability brand of the facility.
Job Description :
- Conduct carbon accounting and verification for the Indonesia plant.
- Calculate product carbon footprints and support R&D in researching low-carbon products.
- Identify and follow up on plant energy efficiency improvement projects and renewable energy initiatives.
- Conduct Green Building LEED certification processes.
- Collect and summarize ESG and CDP information, and take improvement actions.
- Focus on local sustainability laws and regulations, and participate in local NGO or government activities.
- Facilitate all departments in environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance tasks.
- Provide sustainability knowledge and deliver training to the Indonesia team.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Sience, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing company and has experience in sustainability.
- Proven track record of implementing sustainable practices and solutions in an industrial setting and Proficiency in carbon accounting and verification processes.
- Experience with energy efficiency projects and renewable energy initiatives.
- Familiarity with ISO14064, ISO 14067 certification and LEED certification and other green building standards.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct environmental impact assessments and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate sustainability initiatives across various departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
