Requirements:
- Having a Network Engineer experience is preferable
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 2-3 years of industry experience as a proficient technical writer
- Experienced in the oil and gas industry
- Understanding of software logic and the language of software developers
- Proven ability to quickly grasp and simplify complex topics
- Previous experience crafting documentation for diverse audiences
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proven working experience in technical writing for software documentation
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality documentation
- Excellent proficiency in written English and Indonesian
Job Description:
In this role, you will:
- Identify and address the needs of end users through technical documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams to streamline product usability, reducing the need for complex instructions
- Create and organize supportive documentation for products
- Develop comprehensive documentation adhering to organizational standards
- Create, maintain, and update manuals, procedures, specifications, and other documents
- Manage and update installation instructions, training materials, and other technical documents
- Design and implement style guidelines and standards for text and illustrations to align with business needs
- Compile and deliver software development documentation packages
- Review, revise, modify, or edit documents prepared by others
- Compile, organize, and craft online help files to assist end-users
The skill-set that we are looking for:
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- General knowledge of Information Technology systems and applications
- Documentation skills (FSD, TSD)
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Basic programming knowledge is a plus
- Preferred experience in application development within the Oil and Gas sector
