What you will do:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including QA testers, developers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and understand technical aspects of our products.
Creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and API documentation.
Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials, following established style guidelines.
Conducting thorough research to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Participating in product development meetings and collaborating with team members to understand new features and enhancements.
Working closely with the QA team to understand testing processes, methodologies, and results in order to accurately document software functionality.
Reviewing and editing existing documentation to improve readability and usability.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and IT product development.
What you need to have:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical writing role, preferably in an IT product development environment.
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of software development processes, including QA methodologies and practices.
Experience working with JIRA or other project management and issue tracking tools.
Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, Markdown, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to organize and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
