PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group's newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch's Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Overview
To ensure operability of turning chambers, tilt tables and carriers
To ensure achievement of output targets of the equipment/carriers and yield targets of the products
To ensure achievement of unscheduled downtime targets
To ensure cycle time targets of the equipment and products
What you'll do
Perform maintenance according to maintenance plan on turning chambers, tilt tables and calibration.
Analysis of downtime reasons of the equipment, mechanical, electrical and electronic repairing of the equipment. Release of equipment according eng. spec.
Exchanges of fan motors. Localization of failures on measurement boards, PCBs and repair of boards.
Mechanical, electrical alignment of the equipment according to supplier specification
Autonomous adaption and extension of circuit diagrams according to engineering specification
First contact person regarding appointments with equipment suppliers and regarding questions of the equipment suppliers. Monitoring of due dates. Technical discussions with supplier, engineering.
Develop measures to reduce failures, to improve quality and output and to reduce costs together with the engineering
Analysis of failures on carriers and their repair. Maintenance of carriers, exchange of electrical components on carriers.
Placing into operation of carriers according to specification of the engineering.
Align all changes with lead plant engineering
Instruction of Operators in alignment with production Mgmt.
Work in production
Ensure spare parts availability
Qualifications
What you'll need to be successful in this role
Minimum 3 to 5 years of service experience in the semiconductor industry environment
At least a Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Good communication skills
Able to work in a team for transferring technical known how
Able to perform analysis, repairs on PCB, equipment
Refrigeration technician
Problem solving skills
Poka-yoke concept
Able to perform technical discussion together with equipment supplier and engineering
Able to instruct operators
Able to understand the correlations quality, cost and delivery
Readiness to reduce Co2 according to company target
Able to determine cost saving and quality improvement potential in his area
