As a Tooling Engineer you need to ensue to perform your duties efficiently and effectively. Main responsibility is to maintain of plastic injection mould, spare parts inventory, fabrication parts buy off, monitoring mould, pin and insert for reliability, prolong tool life performance. Support plastic moulding personnel to set up mould until QC buy off and production.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare or revision of QMS documents for Moulding Production.
- Preparation of mould protocol.
- To handle mould buy off by performing mould FAT, SAT, OQ & PQ.
- Ensure all the written procedures and working instruction for moulding are straightly followed.
- Prepare documentation and ensure all are up to date and maintaining accurate records especially mould card.
- Spare parts inventory and ordering for mould needs.
- Work hand in hand with other departments and supporting teams when necessary.
- Responsible to plan mould activity such as preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance.
- Implement continuous improvement activities which lead to cost improvement.
- Monitoring results from planned goals, support production in achieving maximum productivity with effective and efficient utilization of resources.
- Ensure workplace are clean and safe to work at all the time.
- Perform any other relevant responsibility that may be assigned occasionally as required by top management or immediate superior.
