Review Footage: Examine raw footage and select scenes based on narrative value and continuity.- Editing Footage: Cut and piece together film segments to create a cohesive story, following scripts or outlines.
Insert Music, Dialog, and Sound Effects: Add sound effects, dialogue, music, and other audio elements to enhance the visual experience.
- Ensure Logical Sequencing and Smooth Running: Oversee the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing.
Consult with Stakeholders: Work closely with directors and other team members to meet project specifications and timelines.- Enhance Visual Elements: Use editing software to add graphics, special effects, and other visual enhancements.
Adjust for Errors: Correct any errors or inconsistencies in the footage and ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Archiving: Properly archive and store project files and footage.
Requirements:
Degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years proven experience as a Video Editor preferably in the hospitality industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar.
Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
Creative Skills:- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and the technical aspects of video production.
Ability to work with a wide range of media, including film, video, and digital.
- A good sense of timing and visual awareness.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work with an eye for detail to ensure the highest quality output.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to new technologies and techniques in video production and editing.
Candidate must be residing in Bali.
