Our portfolio company is a leading Indonesian social commerce whose mission is to empower local brands and communities through equal opportunities, providing a distribution network and commerce services with sharia principles. They are looking for VP Supply Chain who will lead, develop, and execute supply chain strategies to support general trade and overall company operations initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of general trade distribution and the ability to optimize supply chain operations, from distribution companies to wholesalers and retailers. The candidate will ensure operational excellence, drive efficiencies, and implement best practices to meet the companys growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals and general trade initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring coordination from distribution companies to wholesalers and retailers.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, distribution partners, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and performance to identify improvement opportunities and reduce costs.
- Innovate within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and agility.
- Manage supply chain risks, ensuring robust contingency plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or masters preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on general trade distribution.
- Proven track record in leading supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Deep knowledge of the general trade distribution landscape, including distribution companies, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and lead teams toward operational excellence.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with successful partnerships.
- Agility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.

The position will require frequent travels to Bandung, West Java.
