Waiter / Waitress

A Waiter/ess (Server) in our Xie Yu Sun restaurant is responsible for delivering a consistent level and excellent service to our guests, while having extensive knowledge of menu offerings.

What will I be doing

• Taking orders, serving food and beverages
• Provide excellent service to guests in a friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure extensive knowledge of menu and all products
• Ensure proper stock levels at all floor stations
• Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
• Practice Xie Yu Sun grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
• Comply with health, safety, and security regulations

What are we looking for

• A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality
• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant, preferably in Asian cuisine.
• Excellent grooming standards
• Positive attitude and mind
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work on your own or in teams
