Responsibilities included :- Manage and supervise warehouse staff including material handlers, forklift operators and inventory clerk to ensure efficient and effective operation of the warehouse
-Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, inspection, packing and shipping materials, components and finished products.
-Ensure accurate and timely receipt of materials from suppliers, verifying quantities, quality and compliance with purchase orders and specifications.
-Oversea inventory management activities, including cycle counting, stock replenishment and inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory level and minimize stockouts.
-Implement inventory control measures, such as bin location management, FIFO.LIFI inventory rotation, and shelf life management to optimize inventory accuracy and minimize waste.
-Monitor warehouse space utilization, layout and organization to maximize storage capacity and implement improvement as needed.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards and 5S principles.
-Develop and enforce standard operation procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping processes.
-Conduct regular audits and inspections of warehouse operations, inventory accuracy and compliance with quality standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
-Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate material flow, prioritize receiving and shipping activities and support production schedules.
-Manage transportation and logistics arrangements, including coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders and logistics providers to arrange transportation and ensure on-time delivery.
-Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP software to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels and generate reports on warehouse performance and inventory metrics.
-Train warehouse staff on safety procedures, equipment operation and warehouse processes and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities
-Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings and efficiency gains in warehouse operations and implement initiatives to optimize performance.
-Stay updated in industry trends, technologies advancements and best practices in warehouse management, logistics and inventory contol.
Minimum SPM, SKM or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industry environment.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of warehouse personnel- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) ERP software and other inventory control tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, OSHA requirements and best practices for warehouse safety and accident prevention.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data, identify root cause of issues and implement effective solutions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory, tracking, record-keeping and documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is desirable.- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed to support warehouse operations and meet business demands.
