Job Description :
Detailed design of wastewater infrastructure for PCSP CMC (Palembang commissioning)
Technical Assistance for PAM Jaya
Technical Assistance for Davao Treatment Plant (Philippines)
Project and/or Design Coordination of PCSP CMC and PAM Jaya
Planning and modelling of water and/or wastewater systems
Prepare detailed engineering designs and associated calculations for wastewater treatment, Faecal Sludge Management, review cost estimates / schedules, update technical specifications scopes of work / terms of reference and drawings (based on Civil3D and AUTOCAD)
Identify, evaluate and compare options to determine the most appropriate construction technologies (e.g. access, traffic disruptions, topographical information, geotechnical conditions and locations of existing services)
Support multi-sector agency liaison and approvals.
Presenting technical solutions to Client and key stakeholders (local government, PDAM, KIAT, MPWH, ADB).
Utilising existing professional networks for business development opportunities.
Liaison and co-ordination with Clients and Contractors.
Assisting with proposals preparation (technical approach, project team, relevant experience, schedule, fee estimate, commercial risk management, invoicing, local economic development requirements)Candidate Specification :
About You:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Water Resources Engineering required. Masters Degree is a plus.
Professional Engineers License (SKA, chartership) preferred or ability to be licensed within 6-12 months required.
8 or more years of experience working as Environmental Engineer in the water and/or wastewater field.
Experience relating to water and wastewater treatment, sanitation is necessary, but working knowledge of all is not required.
Experience in preparing process treatment / civil design drawings, specifications and opinions of cost related to water/wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations etc. is preferred.
Experience in Donor Projects (especially ADB and KIAT) is a plus.
Experience working with national, regional and local agencies is a plus.
Strong project management and coordination skills and experience is essential for this position.
Construction management and commissioning experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite.
Must be detail orientated, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedules as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs.
Hydraulic modelling and/or Civl3D modelling is a plus.
Ability to use the following software:
AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar
Q-GIS / Arc-GIS or similar
Biowyn or similar
