The department

We are expanding in Indonesia to strengthen our business and are looking for a Sales Manager -Well Completion to support our sales team in APAC.

The position will cover the APAC regions.

The position

The position offers challenges in a busy environment and is based onshore at Jakarta, Indonesia, although there will be considerable travel with Asia.

As Sales Manager - Well Completion, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Welltec Completions products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market, including expansion into new customer segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure successful delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to clients, including conducting product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and product development efforts.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

The candidate

The ideal candidate has wide experience within offshore operations, specifically within the area of well completions. We are looking for a self-driven and ambitious person who is technically well-founded and who possesses the ability to work in a team but lead the growth of his department across Asia. The candidate, under minimal supervision will drive regional growth within current and new clients, will be mobile and willing to access new markets across Asia.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in technical sales roles in Completions, with a focus on liner hanger and / or inflow control technology.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of completion technologies, including wellbore isolation,
  • zonal isolation, liner hanger and flow control systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, and present at industry events, and conferences as needed.
